A man from the
Crow Reservation in Montana was in federal court for a third time in connection with assaulting his wife.
Gilbert Darwin Left Hand Jr., 27, pleaded guilty domestic assault by an habitual offender. He faces a maximum of five years in prison for hitting his wife after a night of drinking.
Left Head was convicted of assaulting his wife in 2007 and in 2008, The Billings Gazette.
